Naval Missle Launch Lights up Night Sky on the Green River

Imagine our surprise, on November 7, 2015, when the night sky lit up to the west of our campsite near Swasey's Rapids on the Green River. Two days later, when we had cell coverage, we discovered that the Navy had launched a test missle off the coast of California. Whew! At least we knew we'd survived whatever explosion had occurred west of our quiet camp.
